About Our Farms

Chawan Farms

In the picturesque hills of Kolad in Roha, district Raigad, there is an equally scenic establishment called Chawan Farms. A family owned business with strong ethical values and a dire desire to preserve the rural culture and nurture the same for the future generations. With a backdrop of mountainous terrain and dam backwaters, Chawan Farms is a place one must visit.

Bharat (India) is still looked upon as a country of ethnic values. With supremely fertile soil, we produce a substantial food grain. But, in the past few years, with a humungous increase in Town establishment and encroachment of forests and farm lands, we are on the verge of losing the touch with our soil.

That is where Chawan Farms have made their mark in preserving the farm land by bringing people closer to nature and cultivate the long lost traditions in the new generation. This indeed is a place for enjoyment but with a thought of conserving the cultural roots through Agri Tourism, Horticultural and Organic Farming and visits to Dairy and Poultry businesses. At Chawan Farms, it’s always a mix of traditions and contemporary ideas. We welcome our guests with open arms in all seasons and make sure that they have a homely atmosphere.

Chawan Farms is for everyone – age is no bar here; but, we strictly PROHIBIT the “BAR” culture. You can visit us with your families, guests, friends, relatives, and we will take utmost care with our spacious, clean and tidy cottages and tent accommodations. Our staff will make sure that you get a tasty, delicious food of your choice at reasonable rates. Visit our farms once, experience the incredible nature and indulge in its tranquil.
